Tell us your wishes

Share your baby’s date of birth or expected due date. We help you choose a collection and check availability.

We prepare your session

We arrange the appropriate details for your baby and family, and explain anything to prepare before arriving.

Select and approve

TALA selects the First Days images. Other collections include photographer-assisted selection, followed by your final approval before printing.

Take your story home

Final images are typically delivered within two weeks of approving your image selection. Product collection is coordinated after print approval.

BEFORE YOUR VISIT

A few things you may be wondering.

The details that help you feel comfortable from the beginning.

What age can my baby be?

We photograph newborns and babies up to three months. Days 5–14 are usually a suitable time for early newborn portraits, and we adapt the session, styling and poses to your baby’s age, comfort and response. There is currently no additional age fee.

Can I plan before my baby is born?

Yes. Share your expected due date and preferred collection for provisional planning, without payment or a guaranteed appointment. After birth, we check availability and arrange the date and retainer.

Can parents and siblings join the photographs?

First Days is baby-only. From Essential through Prestige, one baby setup may be replaced by a family setup. TALA has an all-female team and a private family appointment; fathers may participate in eligible family portraits.

How do we choose our images?

For First Days, TALA selects and finishes the best five images for your private approval before printing; there is no full-gallery selection appointment. Essential and Classic include photographer-assisted studio selection, with an optional 15 KWD home-selection visit. Signature and Prestige include a home-selection visit, with studio selection also available.

Does a home visit include photography at home?

No. Photography takes place at the TALA studio. The home visit in eligible collections is for viewing and selecting your photographs with the photographer.

What happens if my baby needs feeding or settling?

We adapt the session to your baby’s comfort, without additional fees for extra feeding or settling time. Setups and poses follow your baby’s response; a particular pose or the maximum number of setups cannot be guaranteed.

When do we receive our photographs and products?

Final images are typically delivered within two weeks of approving your image selection. You review the finished editing and product design before printing, and we coordinate collection with you.

How is a booking confirmed, and can I reschedule?

After availability, details and policies are agreed, a 50 KWD retainer is credited toward your collection. Cancellation before the session receives a full retainer refund. Rescheduling is without a fee, subject to availability.

Are our photographs automatically published?

No. Booking, selecting images or approving printing does not give permission to publish. We request separate consent for marketing use of your photographs.
